The Marketplace at Hilltop was proud to team with Wavy TV on their Clear the Shelters campaign this past August.
Retailers from the shopping center hosted a pet supplies drive, with all donations benefiting the Virginia Beach Care and Adoption Center.
The Virginia Beach Care and Adoption Center even brought a dog on-site, and we were able to assist in finding her a “fur-ever” home.
Throughout the campaign, more than 2,393 animals were adopted at either low-cost, or no-cost, from 19 area shelters in the four weeks leading up to and including Clear the Shelters Day.
